Why didn’t God protect Jesus the way he protected Parhlad?

Why didn’t God protect Jesus the way he protected Parhlad?

Answer:

God’s mercy always manifests at the spiritual level, although it may not always be seen at the material level.

Jatayu was killed by Ravan while he tried to stop him. Similarly, Abhimanyu was killed.

This demonstrates that the devotees are ready to sacrifice even their lives for God. Not with a demand that I’m serving you, so save me. But with the attitude that it is their duty to serve God.

Even if God protects our life, it is ultimately temporary, because we have to die nevertheless. Real protection is his remembrance.

Jatayu may have lost to Ravan. But has won with Maya.

Jesus on his deathbed said that forgive them, for they know not what they do. He remembered God at the time of death. That’s an example of exalted devotion.

It is perfect, God’s grace, because it produces best possible results for the devotees.

Incomprehensible, because we can’t grasp it initially. The crucifixion of Jesus initially shattered his followers, then that inspired them so much.

It is the most dramatic event in the history of apparent failure transforming into tremendous success. Through his sacrifice, his message became more deeply engraved in the hearts of his followers, and they shared the message more and more.

The life that we have is one battle in the war against Maya. If we die, we just lose one battle.
